Andrea Hacker

I am a staunch supporter of open access to scholarly communication – be it text, teaching, data, or code. For several years now I’ve been participating in the discussion on how we, as an academic community, can best ensure the widest possible distribution of research results. I frequently give talks and workshops about these changes in academic communication, often with a focus on the roles that institutions themselves can play in reclaiming academic output.

In March 2018, I joined the open science team at the University of Bern.
